Ride the Mountain Trails of Engadin
Effortlessly with e-Bike Rental
Avid cyclists dream of riding in certain locations. If you ask the discerning ones, you’ll likely hear about the Engadin—and it’s easy to see why. It’s among the European Alps’ most popular biking regions with more than 1,000 kilometers of natural trails, signposted routes, and committed hosts. Seamless public transport connections, a national park with diverse nature, and fine Graubunden specialties await and promise a carefree and fun mountain biking experience. However, you won’t need to bring your favorite bike with you as you have the option of ebike rental.
How does it work?
E-Bike rental is available 24/7 for self-service pickup and return. When you sign up, you’ll receive a security code and the detailed location in Guarda for pick-up and return. Payment can be done by wire, in cash (USD, EUR, or CHF), or using any major debit- and credit card. You can also pay for your e-bike using your Google Wallet, Apple Pay, or TWINT.
First time renting an e-bike? The rental company may ask for a deposit. The same rule applies to non-Swiss residents. Be sure to prepare your passport for easy identification.
Where to go?
Make the most of your ebike rental by considering these tours:
- From Guarda, ride uphill to Chamonna Tuoi (60 mins.) and enjoy some refreshments and traditional food at a well-designed SAC hut. Chamonna Tuoi is also a starting point for climbing the Piz Buin.
- Sign up for bike tours. Ask the e-bike rental company for recommendations!
Rent an e-Bike to save time and money
Reputable providers of ebike rental offer competitive prices tailored to your specific requirements. All e-MTBs come with full suspension, high-quality Shimano gears, a professional saddle, and cutting-edge disc brakes. The bikes have comfortable Ergon handlebar grips and bi-functional Shimano Kombi X pedals, which come with a click system for one side and another side for normal shoes. The service includes a replacement tube with an assembly toolset and a pump for a hassle-free experience no matter where the trail takes you.
Rates depend on the number of days you’re riding. You could rent an e-bike for half a day or up to two weeks.
Extras you can consider
For more safety or confidence, consider getting insurance with the rental. If you don’t have your own gear, you could also rent a helmet, lock, backpack, and gloves. Reputable service providers offer delivery services for Ardez, Lavin, and Susch for a fee.
